Okaw Valley Classic Chevy Club
The Okaw Valley Classic Chevy (OVCC) club was formed in 1981 as a family oriented group dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and enjoyment of the TriFive (1955, 1956, and 1957) Chevrolet and is incorporated in the state of Illinois as a non-profit institution. The Okaw Valley Classics is very active, publishing a monthly newsletter, conducting workshops and cruises, attending car shows, hosting holiday celebrations, and jointly hosting an annual bi-club picnic with a sister club. The OVCC also conducts one of the largest annual swap meets in the region, allowing it to support many national and local charities. Since formation, the OVCC membership has grown from five families to fifty-seven families in both Illinois and Missouri.
